It came to my attention that if you’re using explorer than in Google page Chrome advertisement appears. But if you’re using Firefox, no advertisement. Is Google supporting Firefox and open source? If so, why have they developed Google Chrome?

Google *was* indeed supporting firefox.. in the past they would pay $1 for every firefox install because it would come with a preinstalled google search toolbar.

Time passed. Google expanded. After they developed Chrome they no longer supported firefox.

Btw, the ads for Google Chrome also appear in firefox browsers, that was just a coincidence that adsense triggered another ad when you launched your browser.

Google is supporting open source.. their OS is going to be open source too. We'll get our hands on it in the next months. I'll let you know :)
